Scott Bruce

With over 40 years of professional planning experience from both private and public perspectives Scott's "bag of tools" is robust. Always a "player-manager" Scott has functioned at Project Management level and above since 1985.  He has designed

and directed projects in 7 western states, Mexico and Tawian and has spearheaded sustainability efforts in Costa Rica and China with a current  focus on Israel.  From  designing  master planned communities and highly amenitized sites in premier locations to preparing Specific Plans for those sites and walking them through the review / approval process,  Scott has worked closely with large and small scale clients and the whole range of land development professionals.  As a Community Development Director and / or Principal Planner for a Regional Plannning Agency, his work has included development review, refining and crafting development regulations and guidelines, creating consensus, facilitating downtown redevelopment and providing large scale comprehensive planning. 

Scott has been an integral part of  Boards and Committees that include USGBC  Central Coast (CA), APA Central Coast (CA);  San Luis Obispo (CA) County Green Building Ordinance: Urban Land Institute (ULI)  Future Build LA;  Rural Economic Action Plan for Tulsa, OK; and INCOG (Tulsa) Transportation Management Area: Technical and Policy Committees.  Formerly AICP Certified, voluntarily lapsed.  

Scott has spoken / lectured in various venues

  • Four State (OK, AR, MO, KS) APA Conference
